General Manager of LANXESS Wuxi

Dr. Hu received his PhD in Chemistry in 1990 from the University of Heidelberg in Germany and completed the Postdoctoral Fellowship awarded by the German National Research Society (DFG) in the research group of Professor Dr. Henry Taube (Nobel Prize 1983) in 1992 at the Stanford University in the US.

Dr. Hu started his career with Bayer in Germany in 1993 to hold several positions in Marketing, Research and Development and Manufacturing. In 1997, Dr. Hu returned to China and set up the factory for Leather Chemicals in Wuxi.

In 2004, LANXESS (Wuxi) Chemical Co., Ltd. was established and Dr.Hu was appointed as the General Manager until now.
