"Green Tire” market share in China will reach 50% by 2020

According to the results of a CBN Research survey, which is commissioned by LANXESS Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of synthetic rubber, green tire is the fastest growing segmented market in the tire industry, with an annual average growth rate of 10% worldwide; it is expected that by 2020, the market share of green tire in China will rise to 50%. The so-called green tire is made of high performance rubber, which can reduce fuel consumption by 5%-7%, so as to significantly reduce the emission of carbon dioxide.
