Diversity & Inclusion

In Oct 2011 LANXESS embarked the Board Initiative “Diversity & Inclusion” under the leadership of Member of the Board of Management and Labor Relations Director Rainier van Roessel. China as one of the pilot countries was heartily engaged in the project. But what is this initiative all about?


What is Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)?


Diversity has numerous different dimensions including age, nationality, gender, region and disability. As it is influenced by a number of factors varying globally from one country to another, At LANXESS, we initially focus on age, nationality and gender.


Inclusion is the active, systematic and ongoing engagement of the entire organization to enhance the diversity mix . To establish all necessary conditions to create additional value out of diversity for the employees and the company, we at LANXESS take tangible and innovative measures to achieve this.
