The headquarters of LANXESS Greater China is located in Shanghai. In 2008, LANXESS relocated its headquarters office to the Park Place in Jingan District.  Around 170 employees work in the group functions and 12 business units.

The Shanghai office also serves home to Asia pacific regional headquarter of several business units, including Semi-Crystalline Products, Advanced Industrial Intermediates, Saltigo, Ion Exchange Resins, and Rubber Chemicals.

In addition to the headquarter in Shanghai, LANXESS operates offices in Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong for the company’s sales and marketing activities.

LANXESS Hong Kong Ltd. was established in 2004 and comprises a team of around 60 employees. The office is positioned to work closely with diverse clients in Hong Kong and Asia by providing sales, marketing and logistics services. The regional center of Asia Pacific for Rhein Chemie business unit is based in Hong Kong.

The LANXESS Beijing office accommodates a team of sales and marketing professionals, mainly covering customer service in the north of China.

In Guangzhou, LANXESS operates an office, covering the south of China. This office was founded in 2004.
