"We are very honored to be awarded China's Top Employer again this year. China is a key market for LANXESS' business growth. Promoting the transformation of Human Resources management and digital transformation

In 2019, to promote the digital transformation in the company, LANXESS launched a new human resources platform on a global scale and integrated multiple different systems. This action not only optimizes various workflows related to human resources, but also makes them more transparent and more people-oriented, which has significantly improved the quality of works such as recruitment and talent development, making LANXESS more efficient and competitive in human resources.

Meanwhile, LANXESS has been actively promoting the transformation of human resources management. In 2018, LANXESS innovated the presentation of “Annual CEO Award” by drawing on the TED model that allows employees to tell their stories like TED SPEAKERS and spreads them online and offline. “Through this innovative way of interpretation, we not only see our employees improved their speech skills, but also witness the transformation and breakthrough of their thinking model by mining the driving force deep inside of them. These sharing has brought us different feelings both in form and content. This also makes the CEO award and "performance culture" more effectively promoted. " said Wells Chou, Head of Human Resources, LANXESS APAC."

"In order to better motivate employees, most outstanding employers are implementing incentives. But the key is how to make the rewards generate better ripple effect, so that the recognized employees can influence people around them. LANXESS allows excellent employees to record videos of their own story to make them more engaged. On the other hand, 'spreading stories of good people doing good things' cannot be matched by any email or speech in the past," said Ms. Nicole Jin, Head of Top Employers Institute (China).

Since 2014, LANXESS has started the promotion of “Performance Culture” on a global scale, to guide and encourage employees achieve long-term and sustainable development together with the company. Thus LANXESS established a staff incentive mechanism and created forms of recognition on three levels: the daily thank-you card, the quarterly award, and the annual CEO award.

In addition, LANXESS attaches great importance to win external recognition for employees as well. Before the Labor Day 2019, LANXESS employees Pan Guangfu and Dai Fangbo were awarded the "May-First Labor Medal of Jiangsu Province" and the "Labor Model of Licang District, Qingdao City" for their outstanding performance in innovation, environmental protection and safe production.
