LANXESS Awarded China's Top Employer for Three Consecutive Years

Shanghai – December 3, 2019 – The results of 2020 China's Top Employer were revealed on December 2 in Shanghai. Specialty chemicals company LANXESS was once again honored as a "Top Employer" in China. This is the third consecutive year that LANXESS has received the certification from the Top Employers Institute.

The development of talents is the cornerstone of LANXESS' successful business development in China. The Top Employers Institute believes that LANXESS has provided its employees with excellent employee welfare, focusing on talent development at all levels within the organization, promoting the transformation of human resources management and digital transformation, and demonstrating excellence in human resources, hence successfully be awarded 2020 China's Top Employer.

 

Promoting the transformation of Human Resources management and digital transformation

In 2019, to promote the digital transformation in the company, LANXESS launched a new human resources platform on a global scale and integrated multiple different systems. This action not only optimizes various workflows related to human resources, but also makes them more transparent and more people-oriented, which has significantly improved the quality of works such as recruitment and talent development, making LANXESS more efficient and competitive in human resources.


Meanwhile, LANXESS has been actively promoting the transformation of human resources management. In 2018, LANXESS innovated the presentation of “Annual CEO Award” by drawing on the TED model that allows employees to tell their stories like TED SPEAKERS and spreads them online and offline. “Through this innovative way of interpretation, we not only see our employees improved their speech skills, but also witness the transformation and breakthrough of their thinking model by mining the driving force deep inside of them. These sharing has brought us different feelings both in form and content. This also makes the CEO award and "performance culture" more effectively promoted.
