Provided that the compounds are correctly formulated and processed, the vulcanizates have outstanding resistance against hot air, hot oils, fuels, solvents and hydraulic oils in combination with very good mechanical properties. They have good resistance to abrasion, very good compression set, excellent resistance to weathering, ozone and inorganic acids or concentrated hydrogen peroxide.
