LANXESS-PASCH sponsorship

In 2011, LANXESS entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the German Cultural Center Beijing – Goethe Institute China and presents a five-year long sponsorship – so called LANXESS-PASCH sponsorship – to support outstanding Chinese students German at the Goethe Institute in China with an intention to go to German universities after high school graduation. The firm objective is to enhance Sino-European understanding and to help students to pave an international career in a globalizing world.

 

A major part of this support is provided by language courses with their focus on overseas life and fulfilling language-preconditions to enrolment. Students who have just finished their second year of high school or are already accepted by a Chinese university, and have obtained a B1 level in German language, can apply for the scholarship.

 

Three outstanding students from round country were selected as winners of the sponsorship in 2011. Wang Xinzi, Xiao Wenxin and Tsang Kitying were provided with a tailored package of sponsorship, including German language courses at Goethe Institute as well as cost take-over in the amount of more than € 1,500.
